All Column Types
Every mega menu column — whether inside a Classic Mega Menu or a Shop Menu tab — can be assigned one of several types. This page is a complete reference for each type and how to configure it.
Normal List
A simple heading followed by a vertical list of links. The most common column type.
Fields
- Title of the List (optional) — appears as a styled heading above the list
- List items — each item has a label, link, and optional icon
Creating a Normal List
In the column type selector, choose Normal List.
Type the list title (or leave blank to omit).
Click + Add Item for each row. Set the label, link, and optional icon.
Reorder items by dragging the grip handle on the left of each row.
List with Inline Images
A richer list where each item includes a thumbnail image and a short description. Ideal for visual navigation — showcasing categories, services, or destinations.
Fields
- Title of the List (optional) — heading above the list
- List items — each with an image, label, link, and description
Creating a List with Inline Images
In the column type selector, choose List with Inline Images.
Click + Add Item.
For each row: pick an image from the WordPress media library, set label and link, and type a short description.
Multiple List
Subdivides one wide column into 2 or 3 smaller lists arranged side-by-side. Use this for wide columns (6/12 or wider) where a single list would look empty.
Fields
- Sub-column Count — 2 or 3 sub-columns
- Each sub-column — heading + list items
When it's available
Multiple List only appears in the column type selector for wide columns — typically size 4/12 or larger. Narrow columns (2/12, 3/12) cannot be subdivided.
Image Link
Replaces a column with a single clickable image. Perfect for seasonal promotions, featured collections, or visual call-outs that break up a text-heavy mega panel.
Fields
- Image — picked from the WordPress media library
- Link — where clicking the image leads
Image + List
A header image followed by a linked list beneath. Combines the visual punch of an image with the utility of a linked list — a "featured + related" pattern.
Fields
- Image — header image from the media library
- Heading — styled list heading below the image
- List items — linked list beneath the heading
